RE: APPROVAL OF JUICE BAR TAKE-OUT WINDOW
UNDER SECTION 25-4-6, USE OF STREETS
We own a commercial building in Pahoa, and have: operated
a gift and clothing store in it since 1990.
We wish to open a juice bar in a portion of the building, with a
take-out window located on the front of the building. Cus-
tomers will be standing on a concrete pad, running along the
front of building, a portion of which extends into the county
right-of-way.
As you can see from the attached drawing and photographs of
of.the building, the concrete pad is sizeable, with an approxi-
mate length of 30 feet, and a width of 9 feet to the roadway
in front of the take-out window.
There will not be tables or any places to sit. Customers will
stand in front of the window to place orders and receive items
from the juice bar.
We request the Council's approval to allow use of the take-out
window to provide service to customers standing on the concrete
pad in front of the building.
