Re: Momona Road Acquisition and Paving Project
Dear Council Member Yoshimoto:
Thank you for the opportunity to review and provide comments on the proposed bill to amend
the capital budget by appropriating $50,000 to provide for the acquisition and paving of the
bottom portion of Momona Road in the Happy Homes Subdivision. I understand that the
funds for this project will come from your Council Contingency Relief account.
As noted in your letter, the Happy Homes community is currently landlocked and has no
public access into their subdivision. There is no argument that a public access to this old
subdivision is needed. This project is supported.
Thank you for your responsiveness to your constituents, and I thank you again for the
opportunity to provide comments on your proposal.
