Subject: Waimea Greenway
As a parent, educator, coach and athlete, I feel compelled to express my desire for a system of walkling trails,
paths and parks in and around Waimea. There is a need for safe space for kids and families to exercise and
relax. Our two parks are not enough and indeed, no longer safe places to recreate many days. Funding of these
types of outdoor spaces is critical and should be the highest priority. Our families need places to exercise and
recreate in Waimea.
