Aloha,
I am writing to request that you support Bill 285, the full $112 million bond float, because Rontains funding
for projects I care deeply about, especially the Waimea Trail and Greenway and safety for Rids
walking/bicycling to and from school. It is important to live in a town with an infrastr- turegat promotes
health, wellness, safety and resource (gas) conservation. Safe walking/biking paths in an around town are
needed in Waimea. The highway is not adequate due to the dangerous traffic and pollutants that are inhaled
from passing cars. In addition the rising cost of fuel can easily be managed if there are other opportunities to
get around town (i.e., safe walking/biking trails).
Please support Bill 285. It will help improve the health, wellness and quality of life for so many.
Mahalo,
Joan Campbell
