Subject: Support Bill 285
Please vote to support Bill 285, the full $112 million bond float, because it contains
funding for projects I care deeply about, especially the Waimea Trail and Greenway and
safety for kids walking/bicycling to and from school.
If we want our children to grow up to be healthier, we need to encourage them to get
outside and running and bicycling will help. This will also encourage adults in our
community to be healthier, that is, if they have trails to use for exercising. It could
even be a way to help the environment, if more people walked or biked to work instead of
driving their car.
