Edie of Ka'u, a 28-yeaz resident of Hawaii who, since 1983, has been with the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation and currently serves as its manager. If confirmed, Mr. Edie will replace Deanna Hammersley (who resigned on May 13, 1998, as she is leaving the County for an extended period of time), and will serve the balance of the unexpired term, which will end on December 31, 1999.
