From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated May 20, 1998, submitting for
confirmation the following appointment to the Boazd of Appeals:
Mr. Patrick G. Edie of Ka'u, a 28-yeaz resident of Hawaii who, since
1983, has been with the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation and
currently serves as its manager.
If confirmed, Mr. Edie will replace Deanna Hammersley (who resigned
on May 13, 1998, as she is leaving the County for an extended period of
time), and will serve the balance of the unexpired term, which will end on
December 31, 1999.

only its title/contents amended but to request updated information and comments from the
appropriate agencies pertaining to the property. Therefore, the above Bill 256 [C-873] has been
referred to the Council as a replacement to Bill 52. Chairman Balog states the Planning
Commission concurs with the Planning Director's reasons for recommending approval of
Bi11256.)
