Dear County Council Members,
Please support Bill 285 in full!
We here in Waimea very much want and need more walkways, bike paths, and bike trails. Traffic is
getting worse every day, but people have no choice but to drive, because there are no safe ways to walk
or bike into town.
I walk around town with my children almost every day, but there are many places we cannot get to
because there are no sidewalks or trails. If everyone could walk or bike into town, traffic would ease up,
and people would be healthier.
Please, please help us get more sidewalks and bike trails so children can walk safely to school, the
library, and anywhere in town!!!
