RE: Attached Resolution
As discussed at the Committee on Finance meeting of August 4, 1998, attached you will
find a new resolution authorizing the acceptance of the sewage works constructed by
Maryl Development Inc., and authorizes the reimbursement of the cost for the sewage
works pursuant to Section 21-28, Hawaii County Code. Resolution No. 291-98 was
originally submitted to the Committee for approval, but was filed due to questionable
language in the title.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County
of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regard to Resolution No 307-98
authorizing the acceptance of the sewage works constructed by Maryl Development, Inc.,
and authorizes the reimbursement of the cost for the sewage works pursuant to Section
21-28, Hawaii County Code, waiving said referral from the Committee on Finance in
order that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be
granted.
