`iUBJECT: Transmittal of Bill 314, Draft 2, Relating to the Amendment of Chapter 2
(Administration) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended).
Please find attached Bill 314, Draft 2. Bill 314, Draft 2, is a product of amendments contained
within Communication No. 1277.1 that were duly approved by the council at the Food and
Energy Sustainability Committee meeting of June 17, 2008.
The amendment replaced the word "department", with regard to those instances pertaining to
enerby sustainability, with the word "office".
