From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated February 25, 1998, submitting
for confirmation the following appointment to the Water Commission:
John Clark of Puna, a 13-year resident of Hawaii who, since 1987,
has been the President of the Kilauea Restaurant Corporation
(dba Fiascos Restaurant). He has no party affiliation.
If confirmed, Mr. Clark will replace Mr. Malcolm R. Saxby of
Puna, whose term expired on December 31, 1997, and will serve a
term to end on December 31, 2002.

OCEANSIDE PARTNERS
From Virginia Goldstein, Planning Director and Designated
Representative for Mayor, dated March 9, 1998, transmitting as required
by Chapter 30, Section 30-5(d), Hawaii County Code, the above resolution
for public hearing and action for the final draft Development Agreement
for the above-referenced proposed project. Upon approval action of the
above, the Mayor may then execute the Agreement on behalf of the
County.
