RE: General Obligation Bond Issuance Authorization Bill 285, Draft 2
Dear Chairman Hoffmann and Council Members:
On July 2, 2008 the County Council will consider the referenced bill for second and final
reading. A number of projects are currently being held for awarding or contracting until
final action on this bill. For this reason, we request that if the bill passes second and final
reading the Council waive its Rule 16 for Reconsideration. This will allow the bill to
move forward immediately rather than being held for five working days.
