The past records are clear in proving that the Puna District has a long history
of being short-changed for much-needed funds for necessary projects.
The West Hawaii Civic Center project can certainly wait until the NEXT budget
session, meanwhile TRIMMING their bloated budget for that project.
Since so many of councilwoman Emily Naeole's proposed and working projects
DIRECTLT affect the people of Puna, funding them would be a legitimate step
forward in righting the wrongs of the past.
