Dear Councilman Arakaki:
The Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce opposes Bill No. 276. We urge you to cote AGAINST this bill.
A cote for this bill is a cote against diversified agriculture, the farmers and their families- and jobs in our
conununu-N.
You along with many concerned citizens of East Hawaii are working to create jobs and opportunity for our
community in the agricultural industry. We cannot be deterred by misinfomtation and scare tactics. A post
hate est irradiation facilih can be built safely without hann to our community members or our precious
environment. The food processed at this facility will not be harmful to consumers.
Please cot GAINST Bill No. 276. We thank you for your support of our position
