Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 552-08, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 552-08, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No.
1063, dated February 26, 2008, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a six month Inter-Governmental
agreement for the Hawaii County Real Property Tax Division staff with the County of Maui, to provide
limited assistance for real property mapping.
Pursuant to Section 10-11, Hawaii County Charter, any contract, lease or other obligation requiring
payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year must be approved by resolution.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 552-08, and
recommends its adoption.
