Comm. 682: APPOINTMENTS TO THE KAILUA VILLAGE DESIGN COMMISSION -
KIMI COOK-MCKIE, EARL FUJIKAWA, ROBERT VANDER VEER,
AND ROBERT D TRIANTOS
From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated
January 16, 1998, submitting for confirmation the
following appointments to the Kailua Village Design
Commission:
1. Mrs. Kimi Cook-McKie, a 17-year resident of Hawaii
who, since April 1997, has been employed as a
realtor with Realty Executives Hawaii. Prior to
that, she was the owner-broker with Real Estate
Resources in Manhattan Beach, California.
If confirmed, Mrs. Cook-McKie will serve a term to
end on December 31, 2000.
2. Mr. Earl Fujikawa, a 13-year resident of Hawaii
who, since 1993, has been self-employed as a
building consultant. Prior to that, he was the
maintenance supervisor with the Mauna Kea Beach
Hotel (1989-1993).
If confirmed, Mr. Fujikawa will serve a term to end
on December 31, 2000.

Parks Committee and Finance Committee meetings can be seen on
Tuesday, February 3 at 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 10, at
8:30 p.m. The Human Services & Economic Development and Planning
Committee meetings can be seen on Thursday, February 5 at 8:30 p.m.
and Thursday, February 12 at 8:30 p.m.
Channel 12 (Kona) The Public Works & Parks Committee and Finance
Committee meetings can be seen on Wednesday, February 4 at 8:30 p.m.
and on Tuesday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. The Human Services &
Economic Development and Planning Committee meetings can be seen on
Friday, February 6 at 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, February 12 at
8:30 p.m.
All the above meetings will be aired on Sunday, February 15 at 9 a.m.
