Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 605-08, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 605-08, transmitted jointly with Bi11279 by Director of Finance William Takaba,
via Communication No. 1151, dated April 4, 2008, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter
into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General, pursuant to
HRS 46-7, for the Evidence Specialist Pilot Program grant for the Hawaii County Police
Department, to increase the quality of crime scene investigations and to enhance current law
enforcement capabilities.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purposes and intent of Resolution No. 605-08,
and recommends its adoption.
