Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 284, reports as follows:
Bill No. 284, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 1167,
dated April 10, 2008, adopts a pay plan for person employed by the County other than those
whose pay is otherwise provided for, designating payroll periods, pay days, prescribing
requirements with respect to official fidelity bonds, and repealing Ordinance No. 07-76 and all
amendments thereto, said ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2008, amends
Sections 3(A), 3(B), and 7.06.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purposes and intent of Bill No. 284, and
recommends it pass first reading.
