RE: Resolution changing a Council Aide (CA-III) position from fulltime to
halftime and creating a halftime Council Aide (CA-III) position in the
office of the County Clerk.

flexibility in clerical work scheduling for the Kona County Council Office

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regard to Resolution No. 308-98 , changing a
Council Aide (CA-III) position from fulltime to halftime and creating a halftime Council Aide
(CA-III) position in the office of the County Clerk, waiving said referral from the Committee on
Finance in order that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be granted.
