<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> V OF it. <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br /> E OF •N~' <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 699 08 <br /> <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO <br /> A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens is having its 30th Anniversary <br /> Celebration on Saturday, July 26, 2008; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Friends of the Pana`ewa <br /> Zoo have planned a fun-filled day of entertainment, food booths, and keiki games and crafts; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in addition to the festivities, families can enjoy the 12-acre zoo, which is <br /> the only tropical rainforest zoo in the United States and is home to more than 80 animal <br /> species, including the white Bengal tiger, Namaste'; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, families can also enjoy walking through the botanical garden, which is <br /> filled with tropical plants, beautiful flowers, and over 100 varieties of palm; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated <br /> to the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the 30'' Anniversary <br /> Celebration of the Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo and Gardens; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC - Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> <br /> 010.500.5523.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000 <br /> Pana`ewa Zoo OCE <br /> (30th Anniversary Celebration) <br />
