BILL NO. 320
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 1, SECTION 14 -2(a) AND
CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 8, SECTION 15 -68.1, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO THE OLD KONA AIRPORT PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 14, article 1, section 14 -2 (a)(2), of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
(2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding a new subparagraph to be appropriately
enumerated and inserted, and to read as follows:
I ) Old Kona Airport Park.
SECTION 2. Chapter 15, article 8, section 15 -68.1, of the Hawaii County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following facility to the Parks -Kona, parks
and recreational facilities schedule, to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows:
" Old Kona Airport Park
SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to
any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application,
and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
SECTION 4. Materials to be repealed are bracketed and stricken. New material is
underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed materials, and underscoring need
not be included.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
