Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Please be informed that I have appointed Ted Yamanaka of Hilo
to the Hawaii County Committee on People with Disabilities.
Mr. Yamanaka is a 40-year resident of Hawaii, and since 1997 is
a consultant, dba Ted Yamanaka Associates. Prior to that, he
was the administrative officer at the UHH.
Mr. Yamanaka will serve a term co-terminus with my tenure,
which will end on December 4, 2000.
