BEZONA, JOHN F. CROSS, G'I'EVEN J JACUNSKI DAVID TAMURA RICH WLOSINSKI From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated September 29, 1997, informing he has appointed the following individuals to the Hawaii County Arborist Advisory Committee: Mr. Norman C. Bezona (Kona), Mr. John F. Cross (Hilo), Mr. Steven J. Jacunski (Puna), Mr. David Tamura (Hilo), and Mr. Rich Wlosinski (Hilo). (The Planning Director or her designated representative also sits as a voting member of this committee.) Both Messrs. Bezona and Tamura are incumbents and the other three are new members. The appointees' tenure will be co-terminus with the Mayor's term of office, which will end on December 4, 2000. NOTE• The above aooointments do not reouire confirmation by the Council. PC-17 Page 2 October 14, 1997 UNFINISHED BUSINESS COmm. 1195: ORDINANCE BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 23 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY (Bill 276) CODE RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS (SUBDIVISION CODE (1996) REVISION) From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated May 13, 1996, transmitting a letter and the above bill from Planning Commission Chairman Kevin M. Balog. Comm. 1195.O1:From Linda L. "Lin" McIntosh, dated May 26, 1996, (1996) submitting criteria for development of catchment subdivisions in areas of a minimum annual rainfall of 50". Requests adoption of the catchment criteria as outlined and allow subdivisions of any size on catchment that meet these criteria. Comm. 227: From Planning Committee Chair Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd, dated March 25, 1997, transmitting a "Master Draft - 03/06/97" which incorporates both the "Subdivision Code Revision - Draft 07/31/95)" and the "Summary of Comments of the Planning Commission" dated April 8, 1996, into one master draft for easier comparison analysis. Comm. 227.01: From Planning Committee Chair Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd, (Bill 276) dated April 2, 1997, transmitting Bill 276, Draft 2. (Draft 2) Informs the bill reflects a clean copy of the Master Draft dated 03/06/97 which was circulated at the March 6, 1997 workshop and that other minor changes are the format and numbering. Comm. 227.05: From Planning Committee Chair Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd, dated April 9, 1997, stating that Mr. Roy Takemoto was requested to provide a master draft relating to the Subdivision Code Revision and that Mr. Royden Yamasato was inadvertently named in Communication 227. This communication serves to correct that error. Comm. 227.06: From Mr. Chuck Hanson, dated April 9, 1997, commenting on the proposed amendments to the Subdivision Code. Comm. 227.10: From Mr. Robert Jacobson, dated July 29, 1997, commenting on the proposed amendments to the Subdivision Code.
