Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to appropriate $97,177 which the County
of Hawaii has received from the Department of Justice, Local Law Enforcement
Block Grant. These funds are to be used for computers, printers, software and
cabling. These funds require a 25% match, which is budgeted in the Forfeiture
Account for $10,797.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
We have approval for new grant funds in the amount of $97,177.00 to be expended
for approved budget items in the following catagories: Computers, Printers,
Software and Cabling. These funds require a 25% match which is budgeted in our
Forfeitures Account #010-271-5271.44-454 in the amount of $10,797.00.
Please establish the following appropriation accounts:
454 - $67,500.00
480 - 29,677.00
Total $97,177.00
