Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
it is my pleasure to submit the nomination of Derrick S.
Ah Sing of Pahoa to the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory
Committee. Mr. Ah Sing will replace Mr. Toribio Francisco of
Hamakua, who has resigned.
Mr. Ah Sing is a disabled veteran and was retired from the
U.S. Navy. He is being recommended and will be representing
the local chapter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
If approved, Mr. Ah Sing will serve the balance of the
unexpired term which will end on December 31, 2000.
Your favorable review and recommendation would be appreciated.
