Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Please be advised that I have appointed Lawrence Balberde of
Hilo to the Hawaii County Family Violence Advisory Commission.
Mr. Balberde is a life-time resident of Hawaii, and since 1980
has been employed with the Hawaii County Police Department.
Detective Balberde will serve a term co-terminous to mine,
which will end on December 4, 2000.
