Comm. 426: APPOINTMENT TO THE HAWAII COUNTY WATER COMMISSION -

From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated August 4, 1997,
submitting for confirmation the following appointment
to the Hawaii County Water Commission:
Mr. Malcolm R. Sazby, a 44-year resident of
Hawaii, who since 1977 has been the
owner/manager of the Puna Certified
Nursery. He is a member of the Democratic
Party.
If confirmed, Mr. Sazby will replace
Debra A. Makaweo, who resigned (as she moved
to New Zealand), and will serve a term to
end on December 31, 1997.
