Subject: Bill 286 (Relating to Soliciting for Money or Objects of Value)
Bill 287 (Relating to Coasters, Roller Skates, Roller Blades,
Skateboards, etc.)
Attached for your information are the bills mentioned above.
Bill 287, relating to Coasters, etc., was discussed by the Public Works and Parks
Committee during its September 15, 1998 meeting. During the meeting, members of the
Committee suggested that we submit copies of these bills to the Court for its information.
For your information, in response to additional suggestions made during the Committee
meeting, it is likely that amended drafts of these bills will be forthcoming which will
make changes to the bills that would allow other areas on the island that desire such
prohibitions to be included in the future.
