Re: Resolutions Authorizing County to Enter into Agreements
Enclosed are resolutions authorizing the Mayor to enter into agreements for
Gang Prevention Grants - one for East Hawaii and one for West Hawaii.
These grants are to monitor gang activities and to assist the State in the
coordination of intelligence and law enforcement, sharing of information,
training and community awareness, community and school-based intervention
and prevention programs, and evaluation and research. Funds have already
been appropriated in the Operating Budget.
