Your Committee on Economic Development and Human Services, to which was referred
Communication No. 360 and attached Bill No. 103, reports as follows:
Communication No. 360 is a letter from Mayor Stephen Yamashiro, dated June 13, 1997,
transmitting Bill No. 103 for Council's consideration. The Communication states that Bill No.
103 would create a Hawaii County Family Violence Advisory Commission.
Chairman Ray explained that errors were found in Bill No. 103 and that a new bill, Bill No. 106,
had been submitted to replace it.
In light of this situation, your Committee recommends that Bill No. 103 be filed.
