Subject: Bill 287 (Relating to Coasters, Roller Skates, Roller Blades,
Skateboards, etc.)
Attached for your information is a copy of Bill 287, Relating to Coasters, etc. This bill
was discussed by the Public Works and Parks Committee during its September 15, 1998
meeting. During the meeting, members of the Committee suggested that we submit a
copy of this bill to the Court for its information.
For your information, in response to additional suggestions made during the Committee
meeting, it is likely that an amended draft will be forthcoming which will make changes
to the bill that would allow other areas on the island that desire such a prohibition to be
included.
