Further, that when the lands under review are consequently determined to be Important Agricultural Lands, that the Planning Department is requested to give great weight to this finding in its deliberations, and that its consideration of such be recited in its decision and recommendations regarding the subject applications. States Chalon International Inc. has been involved in the unconstitutional "takings" of water via the Kohala ditch system which are a violation of the rights of Native Hawaiians in the North Kohala area. Comm. 201: ORDINANCE BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 7, (Bill 44) SECTION 2-33, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, (1995) AS AMENDED, RELATING TO ZONING REGULATIONS (REGARDING REDEVELOPMENT PLAN ADOPTED BY THE HAWAII REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY) From Councilman Brian De Lima, dated January 26, 1995, transmitting the above bill which amends Section 2-33 (c) to provide that the County general plan or zoning ordinance shall supersede any conflicting provision contained in a redevelopment plan adopted by the Hawaii Redevelopment Agency.
