Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 770.04, and
attached Resolution No. 313-98, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 313-98 is to support and adopt The Real Estate Acquisition Guideline
of the Department of Public Works.
Communication No. 770.04 is from Chief Engineer Donna Fay K. Kiyosaki, dated August 5, 1998,
which transmits Resolution No. 313-98 for the Council's review and consideration.
Your Committee raised concerns about whether or not the condemnation notification procedures
should be made into law or departmental land acquisition procedure guideline.
Your Committee is not in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 313-98, and
recommends that it be filed.
