NO. 961 - <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 961, <br /> reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 961 is transmitted by Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated August 28, 1998, <br /> nominating Derrick S. Ah Sing of Pahoa to the Hawaii County Verterans Advisory Committee. <br /> Mr. Ah Sing is being recommended to represent the local chapter of the Disabled American V eterans <br /> (DAV). <br /> Mr. Ah Sing is a disabled veteran who retired from the United States Navy. Mr. Ah Sing will serve <br /> the balance of the unexpired term which will end on December 31, 2000. Mr. Ah Sing will be <br /> replacing Mr. Toribio Francisco of Hamakua, who has resigned. <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks recommends the approval of the nomination of <br /> Derrick S.
