Your Committee on Public Works and Parks, to which was referred Communication No. 358
and attached Resolution No. 112, reports as follows:
The purpose of Resolution No. 1 12 is to authorize the grant of an easement for utility purposes,
pursuant to section 2-1 11, Hawaii County Code, to Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc. and
GTE Hawaiian Telephone Company, Inc. at Kaiwilahilahi, North Hilo.
Communication No. 358 is a letter from Corporation Counsel Richard D. Wurdeman dated
June 4, 1997, which transmits Resolution No. 1 ] 2 for the Council's review and consideration.
Your Committee did not express any concern over the approval of Resolution No. 112.
Your Committee is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 112 and
recommends its adoption.
