Dear Mr. Arakaki and Council Members:
Pursuant to section 4-5(c) of the Hawaii County Charter, we are reporting the
classification action taken on position no. M0001 Mass Transit Assistant. According to
section 4-5(c), the reassignment of duties of positions covered by the Salary
Ordinance affecting compensation must be approved by the Mayor and a report
then submitted to the Council within thirty days.
Information regarding the classification action is found on the enclosure. As the
classification action is a reallocation, the costs will be drawn from the provision for
reallocation account. The new balance for this account will then be $47,387.50.
