Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of a six foot bench from Mr. Jim Silver,
c/o Silver Family Bench, 3789 Woodbark Court, San Jose, California 95117. This bench,
constructed of recycled plastic, has an estimated total value of $1,604. It is to be installed
at Lili'uokalani Park.

To accept and acknowledge a donation of 6 ft bench to be installed at Liliuokalani Park.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council action is being requested to accept and acknowledge a donation of a 6 ft bench constructed of
recycled plastic by Jim Silver to be installed at Liliuokalani Park. Bench is valued at $1,604.

RE: Resolution No. 304 -10 : A Resolution Authorizing the Acceptance of a Donation of
a Six Foot Bench for the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above- referenced matter be
waived from the Finance Committee to the full Council for immediate action. In the event this
request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall he referred to the Finance
Con nittce for placement on its future agenda.
