SUBJECT: A Bill for an Ordinance Amending Chapter 7, Civil Defense, Article 2, Disaster
Control, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended); Relating
to Emergency Water Spigots
Please see attached bill on emergency water spigots adding and correcting definitions in section
7 -6, replacing section 7 -8 by removing all language on water hauling and water hauling charges,
replacing the language in section 7 -8 with language on emergency water spigots, maximum
gallons per trip,.prohibited actions, and penalties and fines.
1 request that this bill be placed on the appropriate agenda for February 17, 2010.
