A RESOLUTION 'I'RANSFERRiNG/AYl'ROPRIATING AN APPROPIZIA"PION OUT
AND FROM THE llESIGNA"TED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREllITING SAMF. 'I'O
A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, a series of recent incidents (seizure, close-call drowning) have
demonstrated that there is a serious need for an emergency phone box at Keokea Beach park,
North Kohala; and
WHEREAS, this area is not accessible to the wireless phone network; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated
to the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used to fund the installation cost of a land
line emergency phone by Hawaiian 'T'elecom; now, therefore,
I3E IT RESOLVED BY 'TIIE COUNCH. OF TIIE COUNTY OF lIAWAI`I that
the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

the terms of this resolution.
