Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
Please be informed that I have appointed James D. Souza of
Honokaa to the Hawaii County Committee on People with
Disabilities. Mr. Souza was born in Hawaii and lived here for
18 years prior to going to school on the mainland. He recently
returned home after working for 32 years as a senior cataloger
with the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.
Mr. Souza will serve a term coterminous with my tenure, which
will end on December 4, 2000.
