Goal: To provide volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 year of age or older.

Output: Volunteer numbers: 1,764 Volunteer Hours: 163,680
Community Need Objective: RSVP volunteers will help serve congregate and home
delivered meals, or will work in support of programs providing elderly nutrition services,

Objective:
Volunteer Stations: 16 Volunteer numbers: 500 People Served: 1,200
Output:
Volunteer Stations: 17 Volunteer numbers: 564 People Served: 1,808
Impact: Partially as a result of RSVP services, 1,200 elderly will remain
independent during the grant year thereby avoiding premature institutionalization. This will
be measured by the Hawaii County Nutrition Program (HCNP) Congregate Meals sign-in
sheets and Home Delivered Meals delivery rosters.
Outcome: Report from HCNP indicated that 151% or 1,808 elderly remained
independent thereby avoiding premature institutionalization.
