Ashida, ion Counsel RE: FY 07-08 FINAL REPORT Name of Grant Program: Child Support Enforcement Agency Federal or State Grantor: Department of Health and Human Services County Grantee Department or Agency: Corporation Counsel - Family Support Division Grant No. (IF KNOWN): G-08-04-HI-4004 Amount of Grant: $250,940.50 Amount of County Match: Not applicable County Revenue & Expenditure Account Numbers: 3304.17 and 010-131-5131.40, 5131.41, 5131.45 Grant Period (Commencement & Completion): July 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008 Goals: To continue to obtain a high amount of paternity judgments, to improve child support collections, and to educate the community, including schools, legal and social organizations, concerning paternity and child support. Objectives: To establish paternity, to collect child support debts owed to the State of Hawaii and custodial parents, to continue to improve staff productivity on the KEIKI system, to provide updates and training to staff members on changes in federal requirements, paternity establishment, child support establishment, enforcement, distribution and interstate case processing, and to educate public and private agencies/persons regarding changes to the paternity and child support laws. Note: Effective October 1, 2007, the Family Support Division, Child Support Enforcement Function was transferred from the County of Hawai'i to the State of Hawaii. Act 167, SLH 2007. Comm. No. Ref.
