Your Committee on Environmental Management, to which was referred Resolution 615-08
reports as follows:
Resolution 615-08, was transmitted from Department of Environmental Management Director,
Bobby Jean Leithead Todd, via Communication No. 1165, dated April 9, 2008, authorizing the
Department of Environmental Management to replace substandard sewer laterals in experimental
affordable housing development, Queen Lili`uokalani Village subdivision. Increments IA and
1B, Lots 1 through 60, Keahuolu, North Kona, TMK Plats 7-4-011, 7-4-012 and 7-4-013.
This is a project that was started quite a while ago and the sentiments of the council and public
testifiers are that it needs to be completed and brought to full circle.
Your Committee on Environmental Management is in accord with the purposes and intent of
Resolution 615-08, and recommends its adoption.
