Dear Chairman Chung & Committee Members:
The Big Island Farm Bureau wishes to express its support for Communication 990
and Resolution 328-98 relating to statewide marijuana eradication.
The Farm Bureau endorses efforts by our law enforcement branches to uphold our
laws relating to illegal drugs and encourages continued efforts to discourage the
cultivation of marijuana, as there continue to be numerous cases of trespassing on
private farms, ranches and orchards.
We encourage this body to continue its support for our State and County law
enforcement efforts to curtail the illegal cultivation of marijuana.
