Dear Councilmember Chung:
The residents of the Leleiwi Community Association wish to convey to you and members
of the finance Committee their strong support of Resolution 328-98 pertaining to funding
for marijuana eradication. The quality of life on this island must be seen as a responsibility
of all citizens and we strongly W that the efforts by the police department to curb the
cultivation of marijuana is definitely needed. Drugs are a scourge on all of our society and
there are many families on this island who are suffering because of a member or members
who are into drugs.
We give our support to Resolution 328-98.
