Your Committee on Environmental Management, to which was referred Bill 325 reports as
follows:
Bill 325, was transmitted from Council Member Dominic Yagong, via Communication No. 1331
dated July 9, 2008, proposing an ordinance to amend Chapter 21, Article 5 Section 21-37 of the
Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) relating to the sewer connection loan
program.
The purpose of this bill is to add I-lonoka`a to the list of connection sites authorized to participate
in the Sewer Loan Connection Program.
Your Committee on Environmental Management is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Bill 325, and recommends it pass first reading.
