Re: Contract Nos. HA-99-1-N and HA-3A-N, Agreement for Older Americans Act.
Funds Between the Executive Office on Aging, State of Hawaii, and the County
of Hawaii through its Office of Aging
We ask for your consideration of the attached resolution which authorizes the Mayor of
the County of Hawaii to sign these contracts on behalf of the Office of Aging and the County of
Hawaii. The contracts award federal funds to the Office of Aging to carry out its Area Plan on
Aging. The Office of Aging's plan maintains and enhances local service delivery systems
providing comprehensive services for the elderly of Hawaii County.
