We , the Board of Directors of the Mainstreet Pahoa Association,
would like to take this opportunity to express our support for the
Tsubota/.Metcalf efforts to build a new home for Pahoa Auto Parts .
It is our opinion that requirements for urban style curbs,
gutters and sidewalks should be waived in this instance . We feel
the rustic flavor of our area would not be enhanced by such
infrastructure built for a 60L..right of way on the approaches to
the historic small village commercial district where 30 ' right of
way prevails . Please help us maintain our rural atmosphere while
aiding one of our long time businesses and neighbors .
