RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR THE PUBLIC SAFETY INTEROPERABLE COMMUNICATIONS; and (Bill 358) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 08-78, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2009 (appropriates $1,575,000 of federal and state funds into separate program accounts; $1,275,000 -Federal account, and $300,000 -State account. The Public Safety Interoperable Communications Grant is intended to provide the Hawaii County Fire and Police Departments with enhanced interoperable communications with respect to voice, data, and/or video si.~nals.)
