No. 713-08 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort and Spa <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:30 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 713-08, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 713-08, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 336 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via <br /> Communication No. 1360, dated July 24, 2008, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br /> with the United States of America for the FY 2008 Assistance to Firefighters grant for the Hawaii County Fire <br /> Department. <br /> <br /> The Hawaii Fire Department has been awarded a $424,963 grant from the U. S. Department of Homeland <br /> Security's FY 2008 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AEG) program.
