No. 714-08 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Hotel <br /> 78-128 `Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 9:30 a.m. <br /> <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 714-08, reports as follows: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 714-08, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 337 by Director of Finance William Takaba, via <br /> Communication No. 1361, dated July 24, 2008, authorizes the Office of the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br /> with the State of Hawaii Department of Health, for the Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning Process grant <br /> for the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney. <br /> <br /> The State of Hawaii Department of Health's Maternal & Child Health Branch has authorized funding of $8,000 <br /> to the Hawaii Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the Sexual Violence Prevention and Planning Process <br /> grant. The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is being contracted for services relating to the planning and <br /> development of an initiative for the primary prevention of sexual violence.
